ABOUT

Stick Stools

Throughout history there have been several manufacturers who opted for this style of chairs, stick stools and cane chairs. Among the prominent manufacturers we could name the well- known manufacturer Thonet, who in 1885 (19th Century) produced his first cane chair. Made of natural wood, the assembly system is very similar to the Ulisse stool. We can find another great, more recent example, in this case, an idea by the Italian designer Gaetano Pesce, who in 1995 designed the Umbrella Chair, and produced by Zerodisegno.
