Radboud Van Beekum

Radboud Van Beekum studied architectural design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. After his studies he worked from his own design office in Amsterdam as a furniture maker and designed interiors and furniture for individuals, companies and institutions, including the Anne Frank House . During this period he also designed the well-known cube chair FM60, which was launched in 1981 in collaboration with the company Pastoe . A year earlier it had been awarded at the Triennale for furniture design in Poznan. Radboud van Beekum died on April 13, 2020 during a retreat in Zutphen.
